None of this was supposed to happen. Yet somehow Phil found himself in the newsroom of a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist newspaper for 10 years. (And gained a wife in the process.) That’s where this all started — the writing and the editing, which eventually led to photography and video.

In addition to newspapering, Phil ran the online community of AndroidCentral.com in the heyday of the website and started other online communities from scratch, was the Dad behind the Modern Dad persona, and was at DigitalTrends.com.

Phil shoots with Canon equipment whenever possible.
